I'll go for that. Tufan was 50/50 but excelled when moved to a deeper roll. To add, Morton is my standout player of the season so far. Very important player to us.
Strangely, Morton doesn't look like your typical footballer, maybe it's because he plays with his socks lower, but he is quality, can take Seri's role comfortably.
1. Morton ... lad has got some qualities in him and a cracking engine, combines really well with Seri which shows they are on a similar level and Seri is one of the most intelligent footballers I've watched at this level for a while, 2. Delap .. after that miss early in 2nd half his head could have easily gone down, but the sign of a good striker is continuing to get in the positions to score, and took his goal really well. Another who I suspect is destined for bigger and better things in the future. 3. Coyle .. I mentioned about his warrior spirit playing through the pain barrier and putting colleagues to shame, it aint the size of the dog in the fight, its the size of the fight in the dog ! And Coyles typifies this, cracking effort Skip !
Five points for first choice, three for second, one for third. Morton 136 Coyle 78 Delap 59 Tufan 57 Greaves 10 Seri 7 Twine 2 Vinagre 1 Jones 1 Some heavy scoring through the centre of the team, and reward for the Captain's adaptability and effort, but the clear winner, and his third MOTM of the season, for Tyler Morton.
