I'm being critical, not pessimistic. My feeling is we should win comfortably, but I'll be accused of being a jinx so I'm not going to say it on here. Oops.
Hoping they’ve had a good talking to as Klopp weren’t happy after Thursday. Need to see that urgency, desire and relentlessness from minute one to the end - whether we’re 0-0 or 3 up, the attitude has to stay the same
With other results this is a massive game for us, keeps us ahead of some, opportunity to catch others and keep City within distance. They are a good counter attacking team, we have to be aware of that.
This is a must win/ should win game against a team with limited ability but a couple of decent results. It will be packed defence and hit on the break and we seem to be very poor sometimes against this type of team. We have to have width, we have to be aggressive and win the 50/50 balls and we must not concede first. Anything other than a win going into the international break changes the whole dynamic of the season for us
TEAM NEWS: Liverpool: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Tsimikas, Endo, Szoboszlai, Gakpo, Jota, Salah, Nunez. Subs: Kelleher, Diaz, Elliott, Chambers, Scanlon, Doak, McConnell, Quansah, Nyoni.
Elliott is a 20 year old and there's no way anyone should claim quansah is a senior player after the few games he's been given. there's one senior player on that bench and 7 babies.
Elliot has about 3 years first team experience. Trying to say he’s not a senior player is ridiculous.
