Seem to think a lot of players get stick when they haven’t played for a while, ie Yoshida. Holgate hasn’t had a great start to the season but then the whole team were shaky. Glad to see him get the credit.
Good dominant performance first half backed up with a gutsy, almost backs to the wall performance second half. And now only 9 points off the top 2.

Excellent stuff, and a really ground out win. As has been said already, Holgate excellent, as was THB once again. That had lashings of character.
Definitely improved defensively. Not exactly great, but we're no longer one of the worst defensive teams in the league. 7 goals conceded in the past 8...if we keep that up, we certainly score enough to win matches.
You can go a long way with a great team spirit and that was very much in evidence today, there is no doubt that the team would've crumbled in previous seasons in that second half let alone going on to win the match and it's brilliant to see it.
Yep, they are building a very fine partnership the more that they play together, hopefully they can both stay fit. We lost a bit of control of the match after Smallbone went off.
I thought that was a fantastic game. Great performances from both teams and it was a real joy to watch. Honestly, that result could've gone either way. Huge, huge win. Happy ****ing days
Good to see Smallbone scoring again. 11 different goal scorers this season, ok Tella has left but goals being shared around can only be a good thing. Hopefully can add Stewart to that list soon.
I think that everyone was thinking he was the next Lavia having come from Citeh but it has to be remembered that he is still very young and inexperienced and players develop at different speeds.
