We've made a lot of sacrifices to lure Cardiff into a sense of false confidence. We have to win!

 

Neither of the "first choice" full backs start. But Sam is not the replacement at LB. What's his future with us? ( under DW).

Oh, and Placheta is terrible today.

 

Wagner is desperately shuffling the pack. Placheta is a winger with great pace but not a full back. This game looks like the death throws of a manager who has a poor record at NCFC. Surprised he was appointed as his record abroad wasn’t great on his CV.

 

Good start, but since we scored we have been dreadful at the back.

It was a gamble to match Cardiff's pace in attack but Placheta has failed to do the basics of defending too often today. He was fortunate to get get away without a penalty as well. Batth has also been disappointing.

My main complaint is that we've been so slow in attack. I know Wagner wants to draw the opposing players out, but we lose ground by going back to the keeper time after time, then give the ball away and they come at us. It's all too depressingly familiar.
