Enjoyed that. But for a blip in the middle, we were excellent. I thought Seelt and Triantis grew into the game well given how lacking their preparation would have been. Rusyn is very lively and provides the movement that will open spaces for our other attackers. Mayenda looked exciting when he came on as well. Can't wait to see these lads get fully up to speed.

I thought Ekwah was a bit poor today, but we're lacking rotation options in there.

Patterson looks more assured every week. Sunderland fans were massively overhyping him last season in my opinion, but he's really coming into his own now. He's commanding his box better and is looking more comfortable with the ball at his feet.

Huggins had a strong game, first half in particular. He was everywhere. But I agree with Sky, Jack Clarke motm. He's so consistent these days, he never has an off game anymore. Even if the defender has the better of him for 45 minutes, you can guarantee he'll create or score something in the other 45. We're lucky to have him.

I'm not sure how to repost old posts, not sure if anyone can remember me saying a few months back that I'd seen him quite a few time at junior level and if he stopped fit he would be different level.
I wish I could repost all the responses I received about never playing at this level , sick note, may as well terminate his contract, made me laugh as these people had seen him play twice but apparently it was me that was clueless

Better second half. Much more control. Huggins is outstanding. MoM today for me. We have another bloody good player with him.

Thought the subs made a good impact too. Ba was a good outlet and dragged players to him, Adil was a real threat running behind and Mayenda looks to have pace and power. Burstow too showed a striker instinct.

Good result and we keep going.

These 2 could turn out to be the quality strikers that we didn't sign apparently

hard fought 3 points that but the lads definitely edged the game overall.

think most were worried about how the defence would work then we lost cirkin in the warm up which increased the worry, no problem though, the lads came in and did a good job, huggins and hume certainly stood up.

our midfield could have lost this today, so many slack/lazy passing, standing waiting for the ball to reach them, turning into trouble etc etc added to this (now habit) always wanting an extra touch from the wide men, still think jobe needs a break from the team so hopefully this international rest will do him the world of good, ekwah needs a kick up the backside as he is so much better than he was today.

rusyn was damn unlucky today, really made himself a nuisance across the pitch and deserved a goal, mayenda looked comfortable and burstow finally got a little bit of service at the end...as far as i am concerned moving the ball faster into the middle makes a massive difference and i feel this is what TM should be getting into them.

back to the defence, triantis was 'thrown in' at the last minute and i reckon he started a wee bit shaky but him and seelt put in a good performance overall but my MotM is going to be split between hume and huggins, while both have been good they protected the 'new' lads perfectly.

I never saw the game but it sounds like Seelt played well. It would be nice to see him and Ballard in a pairing sometime very soon.

So pleased for the lad, seems a top kid n has had a couple horrible yrs with injuries. I thought we might have loaned him out this season, before gooch left, but so pleased we didn't. Cirkin is going to have to be patient fir his opportunity as huggins n hume are playing well

I really like Hume but I honestly think Huggins will be our best FB and that is on the right or left

Yep. Strikers need service and I think some of the things that have been said about them and the recruitment have been very harsh considering they have had no service.

It worked and now weve seen how good Seelt is and how capable Triantis is.

Ballard and Onien also have a clean slate now leading into the Xmas period, because one of them was bound to get suspended at some point with all the games we'll have next month.

Thought all 3 strikers had decent games and all were unlucky not to score, especially Rusyn in the first half. Looks like we are starting to learn how to play with a striker again!

Enjoyed that, midfield weren’t great i thought, credit to Seelt and triantis solid first starts and good to know they’re good enough when called upon, mayenda and Rusyn real live wires, my 100% record this season continues, Haway the lads

I'm still trying to work out how you get fouled and then get booked for complaining about the foul!
