And as that was after a depressing defeat to Wolves, I didn’t think the omens were in our favour! But hey! Out of the mist came Bob Marley riding his reggae horse to the rescue! Light on lyrics, heavy on bass, I reckon this hits the spot for the mood of the moment. Unlike some, I retain a great deal of positivity when I think of Dier, Davies and Hojbjerg stepping up: all three would put their bodies on the line for Spurs. And the way two of them performed on Monday evening was ample evidence. I am sure that young Phillips will step up in just the same way, given the opportunity. I know they all have limitations – but then, first-choice Romero (for example) is hardly faultless. So onwards and upwards it is, guys and girls!
