Pleased to hear Jaden is back fit, I wonder if we might see Connolly on the left and Jaden on the right? With Traore and Lokilo out we seem short of wide options, alternatively could we see Vinagre as a left winger or Christie on the right ahead of Coyle?
I don't think Twine being out wide is the worst thing. Him and Philogene will probably be on the wings. I do wonder whether Connolly would be worth a start alongside Delap though. We seem to lack instinctive players in the box to get on the end of things and Connolly maybe gives us a bit more of that?
Has Aaron been allowed back in from the cold? Hopefully he's kept his toes warm this week, and has tottered down from the naughty step.
Hope we do a better job of the minute's silence tomorrow than last week at West Brom. Last week applause erupted straight after the last post, which wasn't what had been announced. Let's try to do better.
I can't remember a time in the last few years where people didn't mess it up in some way. Last year was a shambles, people chanting on the concourse, cheering after the silence and the last post. The British Legion chap gave up halfway through the Kohima Epitaph, was sad to see... hope we can do better this year.
I remember years ago, there was a fan group meeting shortly after a Remembrance Day game, with the usual noise from the concourse ruining things. I asked why The Last Post and the Exhortation weren't played on the concourse, so people were aware of what was going on. Mooney said he had no idea why that wasn't done already and that he's look into making sure it was in future, but it's never happened to my knowledge.
When Queenie shook a double six the concessions on the concourse shut up shop for her minute silence, and people on there knew what was happening. If not already planned do the same tomorrow.
Beat these and then move on to a friendly against a Champions League side on Tuesday… https://x.com/hullcitystats/status/1723003341968380306?s=46&t=DAxwWj15XaMBwCrrY9gKFQ
I want it to be a game where everything we know Rosey is trying to do works, we don’t mess up at the back, we flow through the middle via Seri, Jaden scores, assists for Delap and the fans are united in song. Nurse, Nurse, Rico is on the happy pills again tie him down or he will be spouting more bollocks
Probably a young Man City side. It was them last time, and Rosenior seemed to value playing against then because of their style etc.
