Nah that's bollocks. What's the issue with a 7pm kick off?

The reason for a 6pm kick off is more likely that they'll be able to squeeze in another match with an 8pm kick off, thus helping with Sky's struggle to keep their head above water/ obscene profiteering

I would prefer a 4pm kick off so I get home for bed at 9pm

My dad used to say to me when I went out as a late teenager, "Enjoy your night, but if you're not in bed by 10pm..come home"

But you work as a referee. Won't the players notice if you head off early?

Aston Villa and Southampton are monitoring Derby County's 18-year-old Northern Irish midfielder Darren Robinson. (Football Insider)

Sulemana and Aribo both likely to be called up for Ghana and Nigeria for Afcon. We'll be without them for basically the whole of January, and early Feb if they reach the semis/final.

Initially, I don't see Aribo as a loss. However, you can bet your bottom dollar he will have a storming December and we will be begging him not to go....

Even with Sulemana, I see it as a chance for Edozie/SAA to step up.

It will be Fraser who comes in for Sulemana.

Probably. But he's not going to play all game every game.

And then you also consider that the others move up the pecking order as well, so it really is a chance for them to step up.

How did he look so utterly toilet for us? I genuinely don't understand it.

I know the Turkish league is probably a lower overall quality but come on, the lad clearly has talent and we made him look like a donkey.

Brings him to 6 goals in 8 games. From WhoScored data he has been Trabzonspors best player by some distance this season.

Brilliant for Saints if he keeps this up. He will never play for us under Martin but we should be able to get a good fee in the summer and make a good chunk of the £18m we paid back.

Tbf he never got a decent chance with us, especially after Jones was sacked. Selles wouldn't employ tactics that would've suited him and rarely picked him to start and I can only recall a few instances when he had a high cross to go for, one of which he hit the bar from. It's very much a case of wrong club wrong time with him as it's obvious that he can score goals in the right conditions.
