Yeah i get that. But from a “business” perspective, he runs things pretty well. Just my opinion though
I'd just be a bit embarrassed having him associated with my club because of his past antics that's all. He had the scum in the black financially so he knows what he's doing from that perspective, I just don't like the fella. Wonder if he plasters sports direct all over their ground
Been all Over since Australia started batting man!! We are terrible. Stokes has shown exactly what was needed the last game. Perfect way of playing. Malyan did well. Can’t see Ali doing much!
Got be interesting to hear the truth about this WC campaign when one of them brings out a book post-retirement My money is on David Willey.............
Angelo Mathews. First person ever to be given out timed out. Now there’s a quiz question for the future.
He has 2 mins from the fall of the wicket to be ready to face his 1st ball. He got to the wicket in time, then realised the chin strap on his helmet was broken - meaning he wasn't ready. Bangladesh appealed, the umpires asked them twice if they were sure they wanted to appeal, they confirmed they were so they had to give him out
Apparently he took too long to get sorted before the chin strap broke. Only about 5 players been timed out since the rule was introduced.
I hate wickets given on a technicality - regardless of the format, wickets should be earned through skill and endeavour - mankads, obstructing the field, The Bairstow run out.............it's all bull ****
In the current rules you are allowed 2 minutes as the new batsman following a dismissal to be ready to face a delivery. This batsman was in good time until he took his helmet off again saying his strap was not right. This took it past the two minutes and Bangladesh appealed for the wicket. Apparently the umpire had no option but to give it as straps should be checked in advance.
