And what on earth why were we having to wait for him, as well? And the times the referee was playing before allowing our ‘injured’ players to return to the game?
That's the thing. The ref gave it. And VAR found no 'clear and obvious' overturn. so it would have stood regardless of VAR. We've had decisions go against us before as well, so VAR is part of the game now, whether we like it or not. Every team is impacted by it. The only difference with this particular incident over others, is Ateta's pitifully embarrassing reaction. He should be called up on it by the PL / FA for bringing the game into disrepute.
He is. He’s deflecting the fact he sent his “Big Team” out to waste time, slow the game down and attempt to aggravate us by making a monu-fooking-menstrual hissy fit about the goal. They simply could not compete with us - their way, or “ours”. Can’t wait for the next time. Lego headed kernt
If it was the other way around nufc fans would be saying it should have been disallowed. Unfortunately fans use mental gymnastics when decisions are subjective. It was quite simply a one of them that you can argue for or against... nobody can be right.
