As an aside as I'm sure you know I used to pretty much only post on the Sunderland board when I started on the site - I think I found talking about Newcastle too depressing to be entertaining. I started easing off posting on there a few years ago after the influx of new posters as some of the old crew left who i got along with and with the newer posters when I tried to explain that I was a Newcastle fan but actually wasn't wumming and wanted Sunderland to do well I started getting people calling me all-sorts (in fairness the regular posters would jump in and call them out on it), it kind of sucked most of the fun out of it. @luvgonzo FYI that's how you do a post with lots of crying and excuses in it.
I won't lie you took some get use to Munse. You do seem calmer these days, it must be all those socks lol
The problem is the average age on the Sunderland board rose by about 15 years in 2019 and the average IQ dropped by about 60. So, you basically had a lot older posters who were a lot ****ing dumber and basically cannot hold a single opinion on anything.
Somewhere along the line I began to dislike large numbers of our own fanbase and since then i became a fan of the Premier league board.
Same as most of us on here, the individual club forums get very toxic at times and you come here in search of intelligent life or entertainment I found the entertainment
Good game been enjoying the South American champions league final so far can see Boca nicking it near the end
Yep, i travell most boards and some are as you say toxic with humourless ****ers holding sway in an echo chamber. This board is a total pleasure with the mix of opinions and number of different topics ranging from wars to chocolate bars and all done without the aid of cliques or gangs.
That was a nightmare I got robbed .. got home waited a month removed the vest and they were still there.
