Poor decision making, poor finishing. A lack of luck (hit the woodwork 3 times has to have a lack of luck attached)
Luck is not a real thing. Failing to have a plan on how to break down a team sitting deep is a real thing.
Worst thing for us was the sending off. Once the opposition sit back we struggle. 11 against 11 we win well but we need to sort out how to beat teams who just defend. Its been crippling us at home the last 12 months
So it’s Mowbray to blame? The fact that we missed a massive amount of shots is Mowbray to blame? If 2 of them had gone in then who would be to blame?
I give up, we play beautiful football, we where unlucky today and because we didn't win the usual suspects are out. Funny how quiet they are during the week and during the game (apart from a snide dig here and there)
The changes were poor, all barring Ba. Adil Aouchiche sitting on the bench yet both Dack and Pritch come on. Rusyn had looked a threat yet he takes him off for Hemir instead of having both on the field. Dan Neil was having a decent game and he hooked him too, in the end we just seemed to have no shape left whatsoever. We didn't draw because of it, but it was one of a number of things that contributed to it.
For what it's worth O'Nien was our fourth best rated player today, opinions vary about the value of stats and he was lucky not to be punished for the pen, but it gives a bit of a different perspective. Must admit I assumed he'd be bottom of the pile from the comments on here. Should have known better. https://www.whoscored.com/Matches/1...and-Championship-2023-2024-Swansea-Sunderland

Nobody knows Hemir isn’t ready he hasn’t been given a chance and certainly hasn’t been given service. If he starts 10 games and plays the majority of each match he looks hopeless then fair enough but that’s not the case at all. How can you get “ready” for championship football by coming off the bench here or there? Unfortunately having so many options is hampering us and making it easy to pull people off instead of just leaving them on to figure it out. As I’ve mentioned before both Clarke and Roberts had been absolutely ****e for years before coming to us and even in L1 they hardly set the league alight for that half season. Both were given time to prove that they can play. Once we start putting 3-4 chances a game on a plate for our 9 and they’re missing them then we can argue that they aren’t good enough.
If we're a poor team then Swansea must be relegation fodder ... ... couldn't even sniff the ball until the red card.
