I was more talking in general, you tend to come across as angry in posts. Particularly on this Thread. Unlike you, I’m not arsed either way, just something that he struck me over the years. I expect you know that I wasn’t suggesting you asking for clarification was making you sound angry, and I’m disappointed in you for that. You seem to think like I have all the answers when it is clear I not many people do. It was trying to start some debate on how people could in fact help, however your comments simply just confirms what I said in earlier posts. At times like this, they way you post and Q people makes you appear rather pompous. You appear to think I am a Brexit supporter, and I’d imagine this fuels your questioning style. Seen you do it time and time over with Os and others. The reality is I’m just sick of people complaining and moaning and merely suggested if people try to work together instead of finger pointing then perhaps, just maybe people could see someone else’s point of view and try find a way that makes them more happy about the situation. And for someone who’s first post today about this was along the lines of, oh not this brexit stuff again, it is you continuing to make posts about it.
If that's what you think my first post said, I suggest you might want to reread it. I said there was no point rerunning the Brexit debate as it's done and asked for practical ways to make it work. Which you now claim is what you wanted to do. (It looked more like you were suggesting a solution of sorts, not asking for solutions). The person I blame for the Brexit result was the former PM, David Cameron. In his years as a PM he was totally lacking in ideas, was less than half-hearted in what his Government did and basically showed no leadership on the UK's position in the EU.
Last few pages since I posted have been full of posts kind of proving my point. That a lot of people who didn’t vote for Brexit believe the decision to be idiotic etc There was hardly any middle ground available between each side and that’s why I thought it was an odd take to suggest that has ever been realistically available for those tasked with seeing Brexit through. Vins take of letting the Brexiteers make a mess of everything and watching to get ready to swoop in seems like a common position for the remain voters. I think it’s obvious that after the divorce we will naturally become closer with the EU for the sake of the children. Whether that’s ever full membership again, I can’t see it.

I think ultimately it will slowly but surely become "Brexit without Brexit". The UK will rejoin the customs union, which in turn will necessitate rejoining various agreements with the EU like Schengen, etc. Economic integration will resume, just with the right colour of passports. That's a worse position to be in than actually being in the EU (most of the obligations without any say in the decisions), and it'll probably take a decade or more and a lot of pain to get there, but I'd imagine it's the least-bad option if rejoining the EU is simply a bridge too far for many.
What ridiculous thing to take from my asking what people mean when they say I should do something to 'make Brexit work'. Here goes: what have I done to make things better since the Brexit vote? Well, I spent some time dismayed by the result and pretty angry about the people who lied about it to persuade the public to vote for it. Then I stopped doing that. I watched as things got worse and occasionally highlighted it. Then I stopped doing that. I moved on. I now don't discuss the vote and I very rarely comment on the aftermath. I've moved on. I can't remember when I last commented on here about Brexit bar the last couple of days. I moved on. Brexit is done. In the meantime, since 2016, I doubled the size of my business and created extremely well-paying and life-enhancing businesses for three franchisees. I got on with life. I made other people's lives better. I started running a dance group, making people happier and healthier. I started a meditation group to improve people's lives and make them happier. Is that 'making Brexit work'? It's certainly making people happier, growing the economy and increasing the tax take. Is that what people want? Literally all I've done on here to cause you to determine that I'm just watching to get ready to swoop in* is to ask what people mean when they say I should do something to 'make Brexit work'. It's not a difficult question to ask but without exception, nobody has given a single concrete suggestion bar vague nonsensical 'all pull together' statements. Maybe I was intelligent enough to get that part correct I didn’t take any pushback to my posts personally, threw nothing out the pram. I made numerous posts on the issue, and I admit I don’t have the intelligence to work out something that an entire continent has failed to work out how to deal with a major cross boarder issue in the best way. I mean, you are clearly a highly intelligent and articulate man, which you demonstrate many times on here, it must really bother you that you can’t manage to control those anger issues you have. Clearly you are still sore from the posts on this very thread when you called for people to ignore another poster, and I called it out. Your whole thing is to poke at people, and then run and whine to the mods that the bad man needs to be punished for responding in kind. If you want to be that guy (and for god's sake, why would you want to be that guy), at least have the dignity to fight your own battles.
