Yeah.. absolute match made in heaven that appointment.

You know what… as long as he isn’t appointed before our game with them I genuinely wish him well.

I don’t actually think he’s a bad manager at championship level, I just think he was a horrific fit for us style-wise & timing wise.

Can see him doing a good job at Millwall.

Nailed on Millwall win if they have the fittest man in history, and the greatest manager in Europe in charge. Particularly if we keep 11 men on the pitch.

If Millwall indeed want Jones 100% they appoint him before Saturday.

That's disappointing but also quite funny. I don't doubt you but how do you know this?

Since we're mentioning Osborne House, my dad had a great job mowing the lawns at Osborne, using one of those 'ride on' mowers: He once heard a Yorkshire pensioner moaning to his wife about having to pay to get in, as Osborne was owned by the state, so everyone owns a part of it. My dad bent down, picked up some grass, handed it to him and said "Here's your share, now b****er off". The pensioner was stunned into silence, but his wife thought it was hilarious.

Oh, and to get things back on topic, 2-0 to Saints.

I take it that you have some means of proving this chap was lying? How did he come by the wounds?

Didn't realise Bialkowski played for them. That's a blast from the past

That's not what I asked and wouldn't you fight back if being attacked? Has his story been disproved somewhere? You make these claims shurely you have a source. Be careful mush he may know where you live.

Bloke's a prick anyway, fair play for having the bottle to stand up to them n all that but he's still a racist **** and if he did shout about Millwall that ****'s just tragic.

I suspect a lot of heroic warriors through time have been thugs and arseholes. But it does sound like he took a few stabs while others escaped, so I suspect there are people who appreciate what he did.

Oh yeah of course. Not trying to denigrate what he did at all, as I said fair play and I'm sure people did benefit, but I just struggle to put someone on a pedestal who has convictions for racially aggravated assault.

Remember listening to that on the radio and going absolutely mental.

On another note but who'd have ever predicted that Millwall's striker that day would end up as England's record goal scorer? Funny old game.
