Never stays anywhere longer than a season or 2 , that's promising. Must be complete turd so will fit in perfectly !

Haven’t heard of him, you’d hope the QPR board would have done their research but their track record is very poor on that front.

He's the fella that we were looking at before appointing Ainsworth. Probably Ferdinand's choice.

Apparently so, someone my lad mentioned to me a few weeks ago. I'm all for a young foreign coach with different ideas.

They are also in the Europa Conference League*. Quite a big step down, but the money (his wage) might be better and he could kid himself that it’s a bigger shop window.

More interesting than the other sad old names in the frame.

    * oops, they were knocked out before the league stage. Still third place finish in the Swedish top division last year.

Not in our current position or with this dire squad ! No experience of managing in England yet alone the Championship. If we don't get Warnock , forget it. Might have been a reasonable choice pre season, but he'd have to be Brian Clough's lovechild to keep this bunch of mutants up !

Could be that he wants a different challenge?
    He'll get that alright!

    That's my worry.
It may take most coaches too long to get their methods working, whereas Warnock would hopefully have an immediate impact imo.

Didn't they lose to Twente in the qualifying stages ? 6th in their division , which is probably about as strong as League 1 !

Our squad simply isn't good enough Col, they aren't nearly good enough to be playing expansive football. I'm all for soneone young with bright ideas who's tactically astute, but you need half decent players to execute the plans.we're in a dogfight and need to pick up points immediately with someone who can instill some fight and desire into these pampered twats. No matter who we put in charge, I still struggle to see where our goals are coming from, we haven't got a forward who's scored more than 1 goal this season !

A lot of this squad played good football under previous coaches and would again imo.
We've tried the blood and thunder method with Ainsworth!

We need a grinder now. A manager who has zero EFL experience coming into a club in free fall with no budget?

    It's Warnock for me

**** knows what's going on? My mate said Warnock had left the ground and no announcement was made and thinks they probably couldn't agree terms. I have no idea who this guy is ...

Who ? Willock is gone, and he was our best player by a mile. Chair flatters to deceive too often, and just doesn't score enough goals. Dykes , well how many is he seriously gonna get ? Only hope is someone turns Armstrong into Messi overnight !

Our side is not set for the way we are playing at present, so if this bloke comes in the football should at least be more entertaining hopefully & more possession although that don’t win matches, so wait & see

Time will tell. Fresh ideas, a different approach. It could have been 74 year old Warnock but I'm pretty glad it isn't in all honesty. Quite excited about this direction.
