Anyone not intending to renew for whatever reason please message me through the forum .... Or anybody wanting to go shares in a ticket. I am only able to attend 5, maybe 6, games a season, so willing to share and finance most or all of one or a pair of tickets depending on location. West Stand preferred.
Is it me, or is this unusually early, for next seasons ST sales?? Is Jenkins expecting us to implode the second half of the season? I smell a rat!............... please log in to view this image
Dai the extension will have no bearing on the sale of tickets now, and as I have always maintained its on what happens during the season.
Well Christmas is coming so why not and they were selling tickets last season in January and that worked out I think lol
which ever way you look at it - it's good business! I'll be renewing and will enjoy whether we are in Prem or championship next year.
Im possibly in a minority here, but im skint. Me and the wife save up all year to get that sort of money to pay for our season tickets and hopefully, by June, we have enough. This has worked for the last 5 seasons. How the fook can an average family in this financial climate afford £800+ so close to christmas. I know theres a lot of people out there who can afford this, and from the looks of it, money talks. How can they sell my season ticket by march, when Im still sitting in the fookin thing shouting the boys on? A bit of Loyalty please.
crc you could try financing it mate on their deal on this, or if you do have a credit card maybe putting it on that, the way I'm doing it as a Christmas present from the missus to me, she is not real interested herself so we will likely put it on over 4 months not to find all the money up front.
16,000 people renewing at £400 each is .... £6.4 million by next March. We could buy a star player - one of the Man Utd team.
There should be already plenty in the coffers from the £40 mill from promotion. SHOW ME THE MONEY. No academy, no training facilities, no contract for BR, no expansion, no massive influx of established players sucking us dry...... ...am I the only one getting slightly suspicious?
The money went on a second lake home for Cyril & Sybil - cost £30 million near Sunningdale including state-of-the-art nesting island.
But £10m spent on new players in July & August, all players having their contracts renewed with better deals, which probably cost about circa £20m a year, saying there is no training facilities is rubbish, we spent £350k on a new pitch and facilities down in Llandarcy in 2007. Plus it's not exactly our fault that the school of excellence is not built, there are a lot of legal problems with building it in landore. So in terms of show us the money, they already have, and most of it is spent !!
Thank Christ someone is talking sense! Jager, I thank you. On the season ticket issue, I agree with CRC. You should have at least until the end of the season to decide/save up.
I think, though, that the people renewing earlier (I know this is harsh on those skint around Christmas-time, myself included) are going to be more "loyal" fans. People buying ST's for the big games only are unlikely to renew unless they know 100% we're staying up so the club are probably trying to find out who's deserving of one. Once again there's attractive finance options, and I hope to be able to take advantage of this. Looks like I'm going to Blackburn away, need to start racking up the points.
Guys lets be honest about this. It is a bit of good marketing by the Swans. With the possibility of us staying in the PL and none of us knowing whether we will by December most people will renew hoping that we stay in the PL. If we dont they will still have 16000 season ticket holders and bigger crowds than normal in the Championship. Whether we agree with what they are doing or not. Can you blame them they have to take every advantage of where we are now. I for one will be renewing in Dec to take advantage of the lower prices.
Ok guys I know why Jenkins is doing this so early! He's raising capital for the transfer window in January, so get your skates on, and renew your ST tickets! Borini's coming home.................... please log in to view this image
you get any replies Yankee, i would be willing to kick in 100 so a swans lad in a bit of financial strife can still watch the lads
Not yet. Mine was a serious post. I was standing outside the Liberty early last May and could kick myself now for not buying an ST, looking back I am sure I could have floated / donated the unused seats back through the Trust. So I wouldn't even necessarily want or be able to attend the top games ... just looking to be able to get a seat or two when I can travel. Musty ... how often do you make it back here.
get in there early lads you can pay in instalments if you don't have enough cash now.......once the 16,000 ST have been sold then thats it there is no expansion planned for next season so unless you want to take a chance of one of the 2,000 tickets that will be available on general sale then you have had plenty of warning from the club........get in early or miss out.....
