That’s just a consequence of over performing last year. Expectations are higher and every point dropped seems like a blow. Competition is higher in league this year which I think makes it a much better league than last year. 4th place this year would be way better than 4th place last.
You have to look at the long picture. McTominay will be burned out in 10months. Tonali will be fresh as a daisy and keen to stop having to claim Universal Credit.
Of course you are right about it not seeming as exciting to you. You can’t be wrong about your personal feelings (although if anybody could it would be you). It’s not how I feel though. I am enjoying the league and Champions League.
Yes - but definitely without the underlying order. “Chaos theory is an attempt to see and understand the underlying order of complex systems that may appear to be without order at first glance”.
Yes. He broke when he realised he thinks just like me. In fairness to Jak that actually makes him highly intelligent, he just hasn't got his head around it all yet. Once he comes to terms with realising I am right, he will appreciate life more.
I actually think Jak is sound. He gets it. He thinks like me. He just needs to go through the transition of realising that I have been right all along. Give him time and he will be enlightened.
The day I start thinking like you is the day I stop posting on here. There’s only room for one idiot in the village.
Not everyone's expectations have risen mine for example have lowered in terms of league expectancy but I'm pleased others including yourself are aware of them rising. I give Newcastle a chance in the cups, but the draws aren't going well. I absolutely agree 4th this season would be far more difficult for a number of reasons.
It's nice to have someone on here that comments without worrying about popularity with the voting public
