Personally always thought I wouldn't trust Connolly as far as I could throw him so nothing would surprise me, but at his best he is a great asset to have, so hope whatever has happened, if it has, can be ironed out

IF something has happened (and we don't know if it has) I suspect it is no more than happens in dressing rooms around the country. Players are not wall flowers and many will speak their minds and offer frank opinions. It sometimes helps to clear the air, it sometimes drives people to do better. There is nothing wrong with players / coaches / staff demanding better from one another. Here's hoping it's something and nothing

 

I will always appreciate Doc's energy but he's never been an accurate passer, and unfortunately I don't think he has the speed of mind to compete at this level.

 

Frustrating? Not sure if I am watching an immensely gifted footballer, or a spaniel with a ball, or bambi on ice. He makes the difficult look easy, while forgetting the easy and simple also exist.

And further to that bit about being on the subs bench, if it really kicked off so bad he needed to be punished there just happened to be a good cover to drop him altogether, he had been at his grandmother's funeral.

Having watched the behind the tigers video at Birmingham, AC interaction with the other players looks good, he was chatting and laughing along with them, I saw nothing untoward. Hopefully, if something did happen, it blows over.

 

He had a close relative pass away last week and it’s hit him hard apparently.

 

Fantastic talent with huge potential, sort out the weak parts of his game and he's a top 10 club prem league player

I wondered about his end product and if it would take him time to get assist/goals. Young wingers especially can struggle with that. I didn’t realise he had 7 goal involvements in the last 7 games.
