Seri was imperious today Philogene wonderful player Everyone else equal, no weak link, solid at the back, Morton and Slater are being covered for very well and we'll only be stronger when they return. 24K crowd did well, new quid kids should have enjoyed it, singing from West Stand north end, excellent clapping for the City fan, CTID.
Philogene - Sublime one minute, frustrating the next - typical winger, but I'm glad we've got him! Seri - Quality throughout Delap - had their back line for pace all game Everyone did well - no one less than a 7/10
Philogene - unplayable at times in the second half Traore - Great game even put a couple of tackles in! McLoughlin - Solid display Thought Delap was very good today too
Philogene (although he can be so frustrating but you always feel like ‘one of these is going to come off). Seri Traore Honourable mentions to the rest but Delap’s turns and then running at the defence, especially first half were great to see.
Seri - there's been complaints recently that he slows us down. Certainly not the case in the past week, he's been a proper dynamo. Philogene - oozes class. Has complete control of the football. It's incredible that we managed to bring him here. Lokilo - Don't remember him losing the ball or misplacing a pass in the time he was on (unlike his replacement). He's very handy at both ends and has plenty of nous. Keep him in, I reckon.
Seri Delap Philogene Thought everyone else was very good too. Especially Lokilo and Traore. Asked to do different things and didn't let us down.
Seri Delap Coyle Getting more difficult to do this which says something about the team being together. I could easily have picked another 3. No-one had a bad game. Twine getting stick by some which I don't understand? Great to witness a home win though.
