Philogene - frustrating at times, but got a quality goal and always looks dangerous Traore - did a mega job playing further back in midfield Allsop - bit of an odd one maybe, but made a very good save with his feet and commanded his box well. Came out to claim balls which I love to see keepers do
Philogene - I’m sure we were all cursing the dilly dallying before half time, but the goal was sublime. He is a class above - approaching Bowen level and certainly better than KLP. McLoughlin - can we please not drop him any more? As well as solid defending, he can pick a killer forward pass Traore - best he’s played for a while Everyone played well including Twine who might not have showed any of his supposed ball skills so far, but works and presses like a rabid dog - so I’ll take that for now.
Philogene Traore Seri Could easily have had Delap, Lokilo, McLoughlin, Coyle or Twine in third place.
Philogene- getting better game by game , another lovely goal . Mcloughlin- another good display at the back . Seri - after a poor start he got a grip and tackled and passed like his usual impressive self . Well done boys . Come on City .
They're just the obvious sacrifices when we're defending a lead. More luxurious players who you want on the pitch to help unlock a defence, but not quite as valuable when we're defending as having an extra big man in Christie or the energy of Doc.

Philogene - like a Halloween monster he frightened their defence to death. Traore - could have gone very wrong but didn’t and he showed great composure. Twine - linked well with Philogene and buzzed about like a menacing wasp. Mentioned in dispatches - Seri, Coyle, Lokilo, Delap.
