Don’t tell me tell Magdad, my calculations were based upon him stating his weekly wage was £120000 or has he cocked up the calculations like the DfE

Look on it like an injury. we'll still either pay him or put a super 6 on for him.

He did something wrong, got caught and paying the price. Now in the spirit of fairness and sportsmanship, let's issue the Scouse Mackems a 12 point deduction for FFP financial doping and Man City can **** off to the the Conference for doing it on a much bigger scale.

Fairs fair isn't it boys. One rule for all, at least that's what they keep telling us.

Latest clickbait ****e saying we're going for McTominnay, he's just started scoring again so Utd hardly likely to give him to us.

It wouldn't surprise me I think he's right up our street. We like these types along with the odd sprinkle of quality .

Newcastles journalists have been very clear that Newcastle like him.

Erm what? Is this like how Liverpool are still spending the £500m they got for Coutinho?

The numbers reported everywhere at the time were more like £15m and in fairness that was still good business for Liverpool.

I wouldn't call Andy Carroll a useless lump.

He gained us a tidy £35m from some joke club.

There was a player in Carroll he just got too many injuries for it to have a chance to show itself properly. It wasn't just 6-12 months for us, he had a good England game against Italy and then showed flashes in that first 6 months with Liverpool (in the league cup final they lost he was probably the shining light in the Liverpool team that day). His game was heavily reliant on his physicality and the injuries didn't just affect that they also seemed to affect how much he felt he could rely on his body. Just one of those things, £35m was a lot at the time but it's not like he was obviously dross.

There's noisier noise that we can't replace him with a player that's going to cost owt due to ffp. So we're looking at loaning in Neves or Kante for nowt.

And the answer would have been no. He wasn’t determined to be under investigation until a few weeks ago. Also gambling isn’t a criminal activity in UK or presumably Italy. He is not being investigated by the police.

I think we should take his wages for the ban period and let him gamble it all on the horses or sports other than football. All winnings to the club. Will keep him occupied and happy for next 10months.

Wonder how much he lost? Got to be loads. One thing you can guarantee about a gambling addict - they're ****ing rubbish at it.
