Pretty disappointing. His career here has barely got off the ground. I'd guess that AC Milan had some knowledge about this issue before passing him on, but Tonali's clearly in the wrong here. It appears that he's received a longer ban than a few other players banned in the last 12 months for illegal betting. Can't work that out.
The difference between a 7 month ban and a 10 months ban is irrelevant tbh, both result in him coming back at the start of next season. The 10 months ban rules him out of the Euros, but he would never had got in anyway if he hadn't played for 7 months previously.
