Well no as he doesn't need to make 180 odd. If we can get another 100 we'll have something to bowl out and while our bowling hasn't been good at all SL's batting isn't reliable. 230+ gives us something to defend.
This feels like the end of what was a brilliant era of limited overs cricket for England. Winning consecutive ODI and T20 World Cups was an incredible achievement so at least we made the most of a brilliant generation of players.
Stokes may be batting well, but his partners are falling by the wayside. Unless Stokes can bat at both ends, we'll struggle to get a defendable total.

He agreed to come out of retirement and he knew he was not 100% If we were winning he’d be happy to stay and accept the praise . we may well be out , he should stay and suck it up .
