I know Farke refuses to talk about it but it just seems blatantly obvious to me that Piroe is a #9 and Rutter is a #10. It blows my mind that Farke doesn't see it.

Ampedu set the wrong tone again tonight by repeatedly losing possession in the first 20/30 mins.

That’s fair enough but have to agree to disagree. I don’t believe he should’ve taken the penalty but also wouldn’t have won a penalty without him so probably would’ve still lost the game. We were very poor and deserved to lose.

Can't agree with that as second half we were controlling the match and looked the most likely winners.

Did I say that? He shouldn’t be taking the pen and the captain or other players need to take responsibility and he probably needs to give it to someone else after the last 2. I just think blaming Bamford for the loss isn’t correct as we were poor all over the park. You disagree and that’s fine.

But (and I’m putting my tin hat on for the incoming bombs) but I blame that on Farke as well. Summerville had just scored two absolute quality goals in our last game, had he started full of confidence because of the goals, he probably hits it first time and scores. Probably doesn’t understand why he was on the bench after a match winning performance so because of doubt takes the extra touch. Poor man management by Farke. Remember this is also the week he says you always play your best players when explaining Gray at RB. Not sure if that’s unsettled Jimmy.
Not being wise after the event but as soon as I knew Bamford was taking the penalty I told the con club he would miss (as I did last season when we got relegated, forget against who, might have been Newcastle). How many misses has he cost us because he is a bottler? Probably cost us promotion in Bielsa’s first season. Probably got us relegated with missed penalties and the sitter against Leicester. Had one decent season behind closed doors. But the worrying thing, he replaced Piroe, so who else on the pitch at the time could we have trusted to take the penalty and scored.
Anyway, thought we were ****, forget heat maps because I reckon Meslier had more touches than any other Leeds player.
    Okay, rant over.

I thought we looked pretty poor all game. We only started looking a bit better once the subs came on. Best we played was when we conceded, seem to step up a gear for some reason. Maybe time to move Archie back to the middle and give Ayling a go? And obviously drop tonight’s wingers but that goes without saying.

Agree but he was pretty much on his own in there as Gruev never really got involved. Ampadu was the only midfielder available to pass to and it was easy for Stoke to get to him. Maybe it would have played out better if Gray or Kamara played alongside him.

Felt a bit sorry for Gruev. New country, new language, only played 4 minutes and then thrown straight in at Stoke in a full blooded Championship game. He looked a bit shell shocked for an hour. At first glimpse he looks a little lightweight too. He won't feature too much unless it's an emergency.

In your opinion. In mind I don’t think that was the only factor which cost us.

No, you could clearly see that the penalty miss deflated us and gave them a massive lift and belief it was their night.
