I still believe they only bought him, to stop Liverpool getting him, they knew the L'pool midfield was light and didn't want a main competitor becoming stronger.
I hope Farke has gotten over his right back experiment now. Left back may not be as big a problem as we thought. I honestly think Struijk is a liability and too soft for this league. Many people comment on his distribution but his job is to defend and that is the worst part of his game. I wish now we had signed a better back up goalie and not gone for cheapo Darlow.
Still can't believe we went for him as he had done nothing in his career. Have we got a ruling on his wages yet?.

Two players I forgot to mention in the OP regarding players on the move in January: Leo Hjelde and Klaessen both were wanted in Italy but FARKE started using Hjelde as a LB but stopped and now vanished. Klaessen was bought to be No2 to Meslier but played maybe once for the first team and then Robles brought in and now we have Darlow. Interesting to see what happens if Meslier goes in January….
