They flew up yesterday mid-afternoon to Humberside courtesy of a Blue Island ATR76. Return flight due back at 2004. Flight S1852 G-ISLK ATR76.

    Thanks for that.
That’s good. I guess they will fly for Wednesday’s game as well then, based on distance.

Quite an amazing one to be honest. But no doubt, if we don't get 9 from the next three games, meltdown will be in full flow.
I'm happy getting 'steal wins' lucky draws etc. After the last few years still trying to convince myself that we might actually win a few matches.

Oh, I agree laces. Leeds aside our victories against Sheff Weds, Plymouth, QPR, Stoke and today have not been consistent and largely down to a bit of luck or late winners.

So I don't know. Is that us and how it's going to continue? or is this just the moulding of something better to come?

There is still 3/4 of the season to go and for us seemingly still in first gear, the table makes quite good reading

I hope we can move up the gears now going forward.

I don't agree with it being a scrappy win our second half performance deserved the three points.

Thought it was an entertaining game and a point a piece was probably a fairer result. You can see why the idea of defibrillators under each seat was raised. If we had a settee to hide behind we would :) Good turn out from your lot. Hope everyone has a safe journey home.

Good result against a very good side at Home.
Surprised to see so many fans down about us just securing the points. Not many teams go to Hull and get anything. We've done incrediblh well especially with the weather conditions too.

Before the match, the screen were showing old Hull v Saints matches. Hull were in Orange and Black stripes with black shorts. Saints were Red and White stripes with black shorts. No sign of an ‘away’ kit. Must have been pre- multiple strips in the club shop. Referees must have had better eyesight in the olden days.

Said that to the bloke next to me. Thought he was a striker, played at right back.

Interesting to see PNE have a minus goals like us, but everyone thinks they are a strong team.

Thought it was odd that the ref went over to check the position of the ball for corners. Never seen that before. Usually the ball is inches away from the quadrant and nobody does anything. I grew up with ball having to be in the quadrant but now it’s shadow has to be somewhere near the corner flag.

We shouldn't be aiming for top 6 tbh, with our squad and budget anything less than top 2 is underperforming.

Not to say top 6 would be horrendous, but we should be targeting automatic.

To Hull and Back. Do you remember that OFAH episode. The one with the smuggled diamonds and Slater. It's a bit like that with saints. This time next year

Oh I agree. If we do average 2 points per away game that should be well within reach.

The hope is that we will start clicking at some point, and so long as we can stay in touching distance until then, 2nd place is looking like it could be there to be won. I don’t think we have a chance of that currently, because we just aren’t clicking or playing anywhere near well enough, but just hoping we will grow into a better team as the season goes on. We are historically pretty good at finishing 2nd!

I agree that we are highly inconsistent, but getting 3 last min goals so far is a skill and a sign of something we are doing right.
