    Monday 23rd October 8pm
    Premier League
    Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Too early for injury news, but Perisic, Sessegnon, Solomon, Bentancur and Whiteman are still out.
Lo Celso came on for 12 minutes for Argentina and Johnson should also be back.
Bissouma is banned due to his red card against Luton.

Lineups for each side's last league game:

Spurs: Vicario; Porro, Romero, van de Ven, Udogie; Sarr, Bissouma, Maddison; Kulusevski, Son, Richarlison.
Subs: Forster, Emerson, Dier, Davies, Skipp, Hojbjerg, Lo Celso, Gil, Veliz.
    League form: WWWDWW.

Fulham: Leno; Castagne, Diop, Ream, Robinson; Pereira, Palhinha, Iwobi; De Cordova-Reid, Vinicius, Willian.
Subs: Rodak, Bassey, Ballo-Toure, Cairney, Lukic, Reed, Wilson, Muniz, Jimenez.
    League form: DLWDLW.

Ref: Anthony ****ing Taylor. VAR: Paul ****ing Tierney.

    TV: Sky Sports.

How would you like to line up for this one and how do you think we actually will line up?

Bissouma suspended while Cuti and Sonny (and possibly Sarr) are both coming back from the international break nursing knocks, just in time for us to play matches on a Monday and Friday because the PL schedulers traded in the paper shredder for a combine harvester

So, going to suggest that at some point we have a midfield of Maddison, Hojbjerg and Skippy...

Looks like Madders and Romero will be fit, hopefully Sonny too. The team mostly picks itself, main questions are the forwards. I suspect Richy might start on the left if Sonny is fit and we’ll ease Johnson back in. If Sonny can’t start then we’ll have to see what the assessment for Johnson is, or what Ange thinks of Gil. Maybe even Veliz is an outside shout? But hopefully we’ll be able to play close to full strength. It’s probably helped us a bit that Hojbjerg played two games for Denmark over the break as he’ll be sharper than just from his minutes off the bench with us.

It’ll be interesting to see what we do with Bissouma ahead of the Chelsea game. Do we start him against Palace but risk him missing the Chelsea match? Then again even if he comes off the bench you wouldn’t bet against him getting a yellow. I’m minded to go as strong as possible against Palace and give us the best chance of 3 points but it’s a problem for another week.

Ange has said Bentancur is back fully integrated with the squad - YEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH BUUUUUUOOOOOOOOOOOYYYYY!

Won’t be in the squad for Monday but that’s still brilliant news.

Son and Romero are fine. Johnson to be assessed prior to the game but has trained a fair bit (so I presume should be good).

Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou on team news after the internaitonal break: "Everyone's back, the medical reports are good. There's no issues around the guys from a fitness perspective. We've got a few senior international debuts too, Destiny Udogie and Micky van de Ven. It's been a good break. Gio lo Celso also played for Argentina.

"Brennan Johnson has trained the last few days with the boys who stayed back. In terms of the match being on Monday night should help us. We'll see how it goes.

"Rodrigo Bentancur, we will be careful. He's fully training. He's been fed into training the last month. We've got to be mindful, he's missed a lot of football. He's looking good in training. Looking forward to get him back."

Good news on Bentancur. Hopefully he progresses and will be in contention for Chelsea, because you just know Biss will start against Palace and get a yellow card.

    Sounds like it’ll be

    Vic
    Porro Romero VdV Destiny
    Sarr Hojbjerg Maddison
    Kulu Son Richy

I imagine Johnson will come from the bench and we’ll probably see GLC, maybe Gil too.

Probably worth noting that Yago Santiago and Ahsley Phillips appear in the latest training gallery

Bryan so desperate to play that he's dribbling with two balls in training

    Back to proper football again.
As there is nothing new on the "physio watch" article,
I assume there are no walking wounded from the internationals,
    so strong starting XI please.

Glad the international break is over.

Looks like the usual suspects are fit but if Son is substituted again, surely this will indicate he’s carrying an injury.

Looks like it will be Hojberg (sic) for Biss which I hope doesn’t nullify our attacking.

    Is “spursy” still a thing?

Perhaps, but today is nothing to do with it.
Today IMHO is all about taking an opportunity to
make a pts/GD gap to all of the usual suspects.

Will be interesting to see how Hojbjerg goes today.
I assume Sarr will be given the brief to be the
    advance MF of the two.

Also time now for Kulu to get back to his 2021-22 form.

You did what is known in archaeology as the
"Woolwich walk" (in which we understand how a
mentally primitive species of Homo Sapiens
managed to migrate across the river and settle in
a region of north London) .

I spent 4 years living in Plumstead whilst at the Uni. Many happy memories there as a student.

You’re a nutter for walking to the ground from there. I hope you took the scenic route. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

That's impressive. You were brave walking in Millwall country or did you cross at Greenwich?

All down hill on the way home.

Crossed the woolwich foot tunnel, the up threw Custom House, through the Olympic Park and that awful ground we were supposed to be after and then along the canals to Springfield Park, then through Stamford Hill and down from seven sisters.
With a few detours as well.

Wanted to try it for years but ****ed if I'd done to watch JM/Nuno/Conte <laugh>
