    What a miss, Pedro.

He should be playing for us.

That's a real "orange" card tackle.

Yeah. Probably right not to overturn on field decision. Kovacic probably one challenge from a second yellow though.

If you can't compete for the ball and be slightly late the game is dead. Yellow card , move on, **** me .

If VAR was used for yellows, he'd be walking.

It's not that bad a challenge by Kovavic - just late. Probably just careless rather than reckless so not a second yellow but taking a massive chance.

He caught his ankle. Hardly any force in that challenge. It was borderline but not a glaring error for me.

I saw that Newcastles press release had 3 betting sponsors propping up the piece.

The situation with football and gambling is laughable and entirely consistent with the post satire world we appear to be living in.

I imagine that most football fans will be pleased for Gary O'Neill today.

Burnley up next is massive for them. Their two games after that are Man City and Newcastle.

Their new manager isn't going to want to be winless after 12 games. And their (fairly) new owner really isn't going to want that, if he wants to justify his sacking of O'Neill.

Chelsea and their quadrillion dollar midfield are extremely good at limiting chances...if they can do this scoring-goals thing semi-regularly, Poch could turn them around.
