This 'hospital air strike' coverage reminds me of when there's an earthquake that kills ten thousand people. After ten days they pull out some 90 year old woman who survived by eating her cat. The media report it as if the other 9,999 casualties are irrelevant and everyone rejoices. Thousands of innocent people are dying.
I think it was the Jews who decided the location for their homeland - going back to where they originated from. I don’t think they asked anyone.
But it is becoming obvious that the explosion was in the car park, and some cars were undamaged. 500 dead ? In a car park. Very unlikely.

According to the bible, the Jews are the “chosen people”, and even that book describes them as head-strong. Or was it “stiff-necked”. And I think that description is accurate. They don’t give a fig for what other nations think of them (with the possible exception of the U.S. and only them because without them they are finished) I admire the Jewish people because of their cleverness. An innovative and inventive race. But while I understand their desire for revenge, I deplore their scattergun approach. As I watched on the news the apartment blocks in Gaza collapsing under Israeli fire, I couldn’t help feeling for the poor, ordinary people who were losing their homes, lives and loved ones; people who, for the most part, just wanted to get on with their lives and care for their families. The only difference I can see between the Jews and the nazi death squads who followed the German advance through Russia, murdering and destroying, is that the nazis did it face to face.
I am almost wary to comment, because I am so bloody confused. But what if it was all civilians gathered in that car park and it became a fireball? I dont know what to believe and I suppose nobody does miles away from the ground.
Is Sunak not just following the example of all, bar one, post war, U.K. prime ministers by wagging his tail for the U.S.?
Unfortunately this is why there will never be peace in the area, they will fight until one or both sides are wiped out. Or others are dragged in causing a wider conflict.
Yes neither will back down from “rather die than agree” - fair enough , get on with it without expecting us to die because you are unwilling to find a way to peace.
Having worked for wealthy Jews, an Arab prince and a Lebanese politician I've deliberately avoided paying much attention to Middle East politics. But, to try to understand a little of what's happening, I watched the BBC on Sunday morning and Sky today ... ... Naftali Bennett, the ex-Israeli PM yesterday and the president Isaac Herzog today. FFS, if I had neighbours like these I think I'd be thinking about sending a few rockets over the garden fence ... ... what a hateful aggressive pair they are, if they're typical of Israelis then there's no hope for peace over there.
Two thousand years of persecution followed by seventy years of living surrounded by people who would happily carry on exterminating you and everyone like you if only they had the means makes you grouchy like that, I'd guess. Some people can't even take being disagreed with on the internet, for example.

Exactly. Both sides have grievances. The problem is neither of them really want a solution that isn't elimination of the enemy.
Sadly that's how it is, but my sympathies lie with the displaced population, who had their country sold and re-named by proxy.
