https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...ootball-ground-spotting-quiz-name-the-stadium 10/15 very lucky guesses
Well done. Also 10/15. Which to say there was a grand total of 1 that I actually knew I didn’t think was bad really.
Anyone else flying the flag for not 606 tonight - few beers and ready to go - should be relatively straight forward with the players we've got - just depends what Southgate does to **** it up
Remember when England only needed a draw against Italy in the World Cup qualifers in Rome around 1980 England played perfectly and Italy didnt seem to have a chance all match
I remember the 1997 World Cup qualifier when England drew 0 v 0 and Ian Wright missed a chance that was easier to score
Easily beaten on the break - they sit deep and counter - like watching City . Nobody moves out of their zone for England , the Italian full back ran almost the length , it’s their usual plan
If we counted at that speed ( for the majority of time ) then I think people would be much more open to the way of playing, as when we do it, we score more often then not
Was just about to say the same, just like watching City. All the possession, but a lack of cutting edge, first chance the oppo gets, they put it in the back of the net. Hopefully England can replicate City's form of coming back from behind...
