Most of those sports should have already been in the Olympics, but lacrosse? The US and Canada are basically the only countries that take it seriously...the third-highest-ranked nation in lacrosse is the Iroquois Confederacy team, who can't even compete at the Olympics under that banner.
England’s bowling attack has no invention compared to the other sides I have watched this tournament.
It's not a score to be scared of, but it's a lot more than it should have been. At 190-6, we should be bowling them out for 240 or less. 260 at the absolute most.
We seem to be batting in fear. We haven’t once tried to take them on. Such a weird performance at the moment
This is where I hate the policy of playing the extra bowler. We're going alright run-rate wise, but these two are going to have to do the bulk of the run-scoring from here because it's Sam and Woakes next (both of whom are very capable with the bat, but ultimately they're bowlers who can bat). Reeks of arrogance that the opposition aren't good enough to take - or that we're too good to lose - early wickets. And that as such we can afford to pick seven bowling options. If Stokes is fit next game, hopefully he comes in for Sam or Woakes, rather than Brook.
