And this, don't forget, is in a season that we are playing Thursday night football as well. If anybody thought that this season they wouldn't throw as many Saturday lunchtime slots at us as usual - I did, tbh - then we've been rudely awakened from that illusion. That'll teach us for asking for the audio tapes.
Only reason they haven't asked us to play on the same night as the international games is because it would be unfair on the other team
Play away in Europe on Thursday, then back to face Bournemouth or a London club away on Friday evening, then Saturday lunchtime away to another London team. I'd better not give them ideas.
Arabs pull out of bidding on ManU https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/67107688 Going to make alot of the fans very happy that the Glazers are never leaving
or maybe the massive draw of lfc in the far east means we are the club in demand. or maybe people.shouldny throw things at the man city coach leading to manchester police demanding the early kick off.
I agree - but so are United and Arsenal. We all know the score, and money talks (though imagine being able to sell our own games worldwide? ), but we're doing the heavy lifting for the whole league here, never mind the Legacy Big Three. Oh, and it's in Manchester, so the last snide point is not relevant (except for the fact that City fans have a rap sheet bigger than ours when it comes to stoning coaches down the years).
I'm just saying there's a possible explanation that doesn't actually include massive conspiracy. has anyone listed the 14 games out, what opponents, home v away and any reasons given. I belive I can recall more than 1 everton game in there and now city so the police aspect might be plausible there. the Asian Market aspect is also highly plausible.
You're the one that likes lists mate. Can't just be Liverpool games though, needs to be all of them for comparison Since Klopp arrived, we've had the early kickoff 14 times. The nearest to us is Spurs on 6. We've had three out of three this season so far.
2017-18 Manchester City 5-0 Liverpool Liverpool 0-0 Manchester United Crystal Palace 1-2 Liverpool 2018-19 Tottenham 1-2 Liverpool 2019-20 Liverpool 3-1 Newcastle 2020-21 Everton 2-2 Liverpool 2021-22 Watford 0-5 Liverpool Liverpool 2-0 Watford 2022-23 Manchester City 4-1 Liverpool 2023-24 Wolves 1-3 Liverpool This is what i got quickly. I see a myth. We got our fair share of good results there.
