No decent footy again as we have yet another international break and guess what we have another one in the next few weeks. Anyone guess what there are so many injured players in the prem?

Rodrigo turning out to be a superstar in the Qatari All Stars league. He has played 5 games and has 4 wins and a draw and he has also scored 3 goals and has an assist too. His team is up to 2nd and hoping to win the league for the first time since 2015.

Georginio Rutter is turning out to be a superstar too. He is on track to smash the record for big chances created (XG Stats) last season in the EFL Ryan Giles created 23 big chances and Rutter has already created 10. The nearest player to him is Mo Salah on 8

Antonio Conte looks like taking over at Napoli the Italian champions. The club messed up when they allowed the manager to leave after winning the league at a cantor. Garcia the replacement is having a mare and the owner being investigated…..

Plenty of stories this week in various publications around Europe about Barcelona debt. A report has been leaked which shows the club owe over £200m to clubs in due transfer instalments. Leeds Utd are still owed nearly £33m for Raphinha so watch this space and Este may have more details.

Massive problems at PSG because they sacked Pochetino after he won the cup and then stabilised them after the problems of Tuchel. He then won them the cup again and the league and got them to CL Semi final. They are in trouble in the league this season and the new manager isn’t liked by the fans and neither is the team: PSG president Al Khelaifi: "We have undergone seismic positive change at the club this summer, more than anyone imagined". Watch this space.

Angus Kinnear has said this week that Leeds will be bringing in a couple of players in January. He closed by saying we have 2 loan slots available. I reckon we will see Hjelde and maybe Shackelton going out on loan or maybe sold

Eustace out and Rooney in? Feel for Eustace a bit as he has them in the top 6 and they are doing well and tactically tough to beat. Is Rooney going to be an upgrade oh and Carl Robinson is with him as well as a Cashley Cole.

There are some great players in the Prem who will be moving in January because they can’t get a game for their clubs. Emile Smith-Rowe and Kalvin Phillips for a start. Bayern Munich are now in the hunt for Phillips and as usual Newcastle and they also want Smith-Rowe

The day when the clubs get rid of FIFA & UEFA etc is definitely getting closer as they're not going to keep putting up with having their assets making billions for third parties when they could just as easily run the show themselves.

Good weekend for watching the rugby to be honest and tomorrow is also the last day at York races this season so planning a few pints of Guiness early doors and then away we go <cheers>

Morning everyone bit of rugby this weekend. Not really seen much of it (union). But first it's northern counties east league today at 3pm. Wakefield AFC v Ollerton. Wakey fans been told off for swearing and asking the ref last week if he ate all the pies. Never seen a ref as overweight and unfit. Hoping for a win to stay in play off places.

Seems Jesse Marsch has broken quite a few players. Robin Koch hinted crazy kamikaze tactics broke Leeds. He said he was very happy at Leeds and knew that if you pressed high and properly you have success, but if you have many injuries you must change tactics. Think that bit was aimed at Bielsa because we had loads of injuries in his second season in the Prem. Then he went off on one stating crazy tactics leaving 3 at the back and no urgency in pressing caused chaos and too many concessions

been reading reports about Kristensen, Aaronson who are just broke. Union Berlin fans wish they had not bothered with the yank. Remember he was supposed to be the twin of Connor Galagher and when he arrived he was like a pressing dynamo and created chances. Watching MoD in the early Marsch days the tv pundits were raving about him, but as Marsch changed his tactics to chaos we ended up with a weak, pathetic bloke who fell over a lot. Looks like he can’t get his game back

Think we can probably wave goodbye to the 80m or whatever we paid for that lot. Twenty years scrounging for a few quid an moaning about other clubs parachute money and first chance we get we blow the pl money

Jerry Mullen and Charlie Allen signed new contracts on Friday and a strange one was Daryl Ombang who was called into the first team squad a few weeks ago. We brought him in from Bradford City a couple of years ago as a very very promising keeper. He too signed a contract on Friday and was promptly sent out on a one month loan to Ossett Town to play first team football for experience. Maybe Wakey should give us a scouting report? He’s being sharing U21 duties with DVH and is only 18yo

Ossett are in a higher league to wakey. Ossett goalie is taking some time out for reasons not stated. Looks like he was their only goalie too. They may want to keep ours a little longer if they can't find another. Horbury who are in our league lost at ossett 2 nil in the cup midweek.

Looks like we are going to be losing a keeper or two if I read the tea leaves right. Klaessen was bought to be our No2 and a very good U21 International almost a full international now, but Robles brought in. Robles now gone and Darlow brought in but we also still have Meslier. Ombang training with the first team and a rumour about a Scandinavian keeper arriving in January

Sounds like Meslier is off in January after the warning about his international future and the young lad being fast tracked for the first team squad. Darlow to step up with Ombang / Klaessen as number two / three?

He’s a luxury we don’t need in fairness. Most of these championship teams have hardly managed a shot on goals against us. Myself or wakey could do the goalie job

Linked with Noel Tornqvist who plays for Mjallby. 21 year old, 29 first team appearances and 11 clean sheets. A january target if we get an acceptable bid for Meslier.

Considering we turned down a bid of over £20 million for Meslier (according to Angus Kinnear) last summer then I'm guessing a similar bid would now be accepted by us.

If we hadn't spent £80m or whatever though, Radz would have been crucified, plenty were calling for him to dig deep ;)
