But I had a look at the points for all of the 2nd placed championship teams over the last 10 seasons (forget winning it a the moment) and it reads as follows 2nd place points 91 88 91 83 89 90 93 89 89 93 So if it all pans out similar - pretty much 90 points guarantees promotion - so 36 games to get another 63 points !! Still feels like a huge task even given the start we have had
We have 4 points more than at the same stage we walked the Championship in 13/14. Still some very good teams to play twice but a 7 point gap to third already is amazing.
If Carlsberg collated football tables ....... Another 3 points and now 10 points ahead of 3rd. Aren't Ipswich doing well though!
