Brighton & Hove Albion defender Lewis Dunk has argued that Liverpool aren't the only club with a case for a replay after Jurgen Klopp's VAR claim. Lewis Dunk wants another replay after Liverpool VAR error - Liverpool Echo
What none of these people who are claiming injustice are seeing is that while every club can point to lines being drawn wrongly or whatever, there has never been an instance where the VAR thought they were confirming one thing and actually confirmed another. It simply hasn't happened before.
basically JK should never have mentioned a replay just gave everyone an excuse to just take the piss out of him and the club as all clubs can point to VAR **** ups to some degree and drawing the lines to the wrong player is pretty shocking tbf .
He was continually pushed on it though, and all he said was that a replay would be fair - he wasn't expecting or requesting one. It was the media that twisted it into him "demanding" a replay, and that's what everyone has been crawling all over. Yes, he'd have been better keeping his thoughts to himself, but he's never been great at that - and although his English has improved massively his grasp of nuance is still very much lacking. Sometimes stuff just comes out of his mouth that doesn't make a lot of sense really, because he doesn't have the command of English to adequately express his feelings. Having said all of that, there is a fundamental difference in what happened there and other VAR atrocities.
we will get the last laugh on Brighton. and frankly trent should plough through a couple who are stinking poor international team mates bring this up in camp. it says to me that team spirit in the England camp is non existent
#calledit immediately. Should have been about improving football and officiating but the mare mention of a replay made it about LFC unfortunately
