Honestly thought a result like the one against Leicester would be enough to get people onside at least for the foreseeable (or until we lose 3-4 games in a row or something extreme like that) but I guess not. All it takes is a loss to a strong side and a couple of draws.
Exactly - and it started in pre-season which beggars belief. People were on Rosenior’s back from the get go. It breeds negativity which filters through to the players.
The result against Leicester was nothing to do with the style of football we play but everything to do with Leicester missing numerous chances - any other day we could have been hammered - we have the makings of a good team but we are being hampered at the moment by too much unnecessary ****ing about - it's not a good look and commentators as well as the fans are right to have an opinion - it's all right Rosie having a pop at the support, some of the players are arguing on the pitch with each other which makes you wonder just how happy the players are
Players at every successful team are prepared to give each other a bollocking on the pitch. Teams don't succeed if players aren't honest with each other. Zero issue with it.
Football fans moan, it is a law of nature. I'm sure Leicester fans are still moaning about losing at home to us.
League position doesn't really mean much until after xmas though, does it? LR was supported, quite handsomely, over the summer and yet is showing a similar PPM figure to last season, at which time there were plenty of excuses flying around about it being his first season, the players needing time to adapt to his style, he needs to bring his own players in etc etc etc. All valid at the time, but he's had that time, and those opportunities now, and quite rightly, people are calling out that progress isn't being made. It's far too early for any knee jerk stuff, but they are valid points. LR was a breath of fresh air when he came back to the club, but (some) fans, and almost certainly the owner, expects him to step it up a notch or two now.
Of course, it’s the fans’ fault. Are you not slightly embarrassed to keep repeating this utterly pathetic excuse?
Why repeat this when someone else has done the maths for you? Further, we currently sit on 17 points, a massive 2 points off the pace of the 12/13 and 15/16 promotion seasons, and a measely 5 more than the 12 amassed in 07/08.
Nope, wrong yet again. Not sure how the hell you manage it. And don't say it's my posts; it seems to be with several people's posts. Read the rest of what I posted. That's the problem and what I'm criticising him for, not the yelling.
You seemed to make several presumptions in your post, starting with the claim he 'just' screams at them, when my citing that was evidence that he wasn't happy with the backwards passing in moments of pressure any more than you seem to be. You twist yourself in so many qualifications and hedges of what you say (constantly saying you hope you're proven wrong, that you didn't want him to do one just that he 'could' do one, etc. etc.) as if you're terrified of actually pinning yourself to a mast and engaging in a discussion. It leads to this post from you where you can just continuously say 'nah I never said that' whenever someone tries to challenge you on your criticisms. Your sarcastic "that'll help, yelling" (paraphrasing before you get your panties in a twist), followed by supposedly criticising him for not drilling them in training and setting them up to be progressive is a big fat GUESS on your behalf. Or do you attend our training sessions? If Rosenior is unhappy with how a game is playing out, chances are it's not because they're doing exactly what he expects of them.
Funnily enough if said player had said he hates Rosenior and the players think the style is awful, then I'm sure you could definitely know that. We've heard the stories about the Derby players enough times to know that some are happy to believe the word of a player in some situations..
You’ve made a huge claim that can’t be backed up and what would a player say anyway but that So we’re every single player in a line reporting directly to your family member?
Wow! I think I'm just about the only one on here who's actually come off the fence and said he really isn't anything and 'he can go for me'!! . I post near daily with thoughts and typically respond to others. Of course I want to be proven wrong. I don't want him to fail. I want him to succeed, to be incredibly successful, because that means my club would be succeeding! It really shouldn't be difficult to understand. I have attended training sessions but not for some time. I can only go on the evidence I see every match. We are pretty ****e at attacking play imo. Whatever he is or isn't doing, it isn't working anywhere near well enough, we look clueless in those phases, and the responsibility rests with him, especially now with the way he's been supported by Acun (and what he inherited). Oh, silly me, engaging in discussion yet again and being terrified to pin myself to a mast. Sorry but you continue to spout absolute bollox and near continually mis-interpret what other posters are saying. Give it up mate.
Totally different case, all Barry did was share a post on social media which is deemed offensive to some, from what I've heard it was a picture of a load of muslims praying in the street accompanied by another picture of soldiers from the second world war with the words 'our fathers and grandfathers died for this?', something he has apologized for but will probably leave at the end of this season. As for the fan arrested on saturday if proved he used racist language he will be banned for a long time if not life just like a few others have been with their potty mouths.
