But if he hasn't been doing that well shouldn't he be given a new contract and a pay rise? At least that would show a new approach to consistency/
I presume they blame him for the signing of Rajovic and others who have done very little although Ismael said he played a role too but too late to sack him now .
A bit tough on Rajovic! He's only played in four full games, scoring three times, and has made four other appearances in which his minutes equate to little more than a full match. Add to that that he's really playing in a formation/role that doesn't suit his strengths.
Reminiscent of Ross Jenkins - pretty poor until GT took over and played to his strengths/paired him with Luther.
More trouble for Andrews? https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/s...-man-andrews-charged-fa-behaviour-sunderland/
Yes what did he that was worse than normal ? Not leave the pitch in time . Got the impression the ref had enough of our poor discipline at the game .
Manga told he can go but not gone yet . https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/23844139.technical-director-ben-manga-set-leave-watford/
Or he recruited a couple of players on loan to win us promotion that were nowhere near Championship standard never mind Prem standard if we had fluked promotion
True and a few more players who haven’t done much . And there usually is a fall guy in these situations. Normally the manager! As usual he came with a load of hype and big reputation having worked at Frankfurt with some success but very different having money to spend and being a big German club to come here with limited funds and probably not a great appeal to many.. As you say last season we brought 2 young players from Portugal not suited to the Championship. But as the Pozzo/ Duxbry and G man are so disliked they have been blamed for the recruiting this summer - even though Ismael himself said he wanted many of of the players signed. I think the main issue/worry is once again does this show the lack of long term thinking and stability at the club - now people are saying Manga didn't get on with the manager or didn't know about him even coming. All rumours and hearsay I guess but even Bilic said in the WO interview everything seemed a bit crowded with too many people trying to do the same thing.
We’ll probably see him next year ! This is a bit sad isn’t it really ? The club trying to bring up a serious non football related issue which affects many people and all some can do is have a pop about the Pozzos and supporting the club. Maybe these people need to put things in some perspective ? Afterall it is only a game ..
True but think that was meant to be a serious point /Tweet about mental health generally from the club itself rather than sent by Mr Pozzos or whoever. Not everything they tweet needs to turn into an anti owners/team/manager thing. Of course things like football can have an affect on minds particularly if they take it very seriously I guess.
