Referee & his assistants shouldn’t be allowed near another game all season, shocking decisions time after time. If Robert’s shot goes in that’s a different game coz they would have to go at us and we would have picked them off. 2 weeks to rest and get some lads back from injury so we should be in better shape for Stoke. Bad day at the office for most of the team bar Big Dan, I’m off home to get bladdered with the missus. Enjoy your weekend lads & lasses
Me apologise? You are questioning a mans integrity and then getting angry when someone says something to you. Pathetic.
Mowbray will be hurting MORE for losing this to Boro, not less. You lot don’t even want to go back to work with your smoggy mates. He lives with and around them.
You're actually the pathetic one, clearly a limited ability to read the content of posts and then you lash out with insults, when others play your game you don't like it. Be an adult and apologise.
I agree he probably should have kept quiet but it’s the lack of consistency. Foul after foul was being unpunished and players were getting frustrated as expected. One of the Boro players was blatantly saying “**** sake” when a free kick went against him but he didn’t get a card. Where’s the difference there? What he said is not dissent in my book and probably not to many referees either. The poor standard of officiating is absolutely ruining football almost as much as VAR is in the premier league.
Don’t think TM deliberately threw the game, but his tactics and subs were a disgrace. Will he lose any sleep - NO!! Bart
Referees have always been inconsistent - even within the same game. Thing is with VAR the referees used that to get them out of the **** and when they step down to the Championship its not there and they've not got that fall back
I was observing that he will be questioned, again are you being ignorant or are you just cognitively inept?
This is infantile to say the least. The mere suggestion that Mowbray would be pleased at losing is ****ing ridiculous. I'm almost offended by it personally as a Sunderland fan.
Exactly, if that's the rule fair enough, although everyone knows the rules are always relaxed when it comes to giving someone a second yellow, but nobody is going to convince me that nobody else on that pitch today swore at the ref. Or that we'll see cards given for it on a regular and consistent basis throughout the season. Not a chance.
He's been questioned by about 3 people, which is a massive minority. You even mentioning it is pathetic.
Yeh this is where I sit. Its definitely Neil's fault he got sent off. And he should learn from it. But it was very harsh. And I also wonder if when moving so quickly the ref forgot he'd already booked him. On the flip side, we only know Mowbray's side of the story so far, and its maybe all we ever know. Neil may have said loads more then Mowbray is letting on, or even knows about himself. Neil may have been a lot more colourful and a lot more frequent. We just don't know.
You are an idiot, what has a forum with a maximum of 50 regular members got to with an observation about a fanbase likely in excess of 250,000 people?
That’s why I think VAR should be kicked into touch. Referees, and especially linesmen, are becoming so bloody lazy because of it and terrified to make the wrong decision. Ange Postecoglou was absolutely spot on the other day when he said it should be scrapped. Still doesn’t account for the standard of referees coming up from league one however
