Not sure if we're on the same wavelength.
I can't remember exactly the incident but Don Revie couldn't believe what happened. Sure he was quoted at the time wondering if the ground was cursed.

Morning oldschool, you're correct, I was referring to the game at ER 70/71 season.
I've since found a video of that game, amazing the different 'interpretation' of rules back then as well.
DR was convinced it was a Gypsy curse from years before.
And no, I don't think for one minute we'll be bob bob bobbing this afternoon. <yikes>

Shacks is out with a shoulder injury, Ell. They're waiting to the last minute to see if Byram is fit enough to play. I think he will, especially given that there's an International gap coming immeditely after the match. Now if he doesn't play, the fun begins. Which square peg can play LB? Hjelde? Unlikely, given previous attempts. Dallas? Spit your coffee out there? LOL. No, far too early. Same with Firpo. I can only think of Struijk, unless an u21 gets a rapid promotion (but they only played last night). Any other options?

Hjelde’s on a season long loan at Rotherham I think.

Edit: Actually that was last season <sorry>

Pretty ridiculous that we have only one specialist left back at the club (who’s never fit)

    I'm guessing it will be

    -----------------Meslier
    Byram-Rodon-Ampadu-Struijk
    ------------Gray---Kamara
    Summerville--Piroe--James
    -------------------Rutter
