Very average performance against a very average team, so it was enough. Two wins out of two so can do no more

Double header v Toulouse next. 2 wins secures top spot. 4 points should be enough in theory

Minutes in the legs for Trent before the weekend, nice little run out for Endo, Macallister's dad gets to see his two lads and ...... we won. What's not to like.

Thought Gravenberch looked sharp, as epitomised by his goal. Rest of the team were average at best, but 3 points is all that really matters.

Diogo is ****in' deadly......and in fine form.

So many options up front and everyone is scoring goals.

Could have closed this game earlier but credit to USG

Gravenberch interview - best goal of his career so far. Like it…. You’re last goal should always be the most important of your career

    Season so far?

Grabbed some wins from the jaws of defeat.

Won some when we haven't played well like tonight.

Also Played well and Got robbed. See spurs.

For the majority its been pleasing how swift this new side looks to be gelling. Its no where near there yet but its coming and when it eventually clicks were gonna tear some new arseholes again.

If we can keep this trajectory going and stay in the race until around January then add a proper quality dm in the window then klopps Liverpool 2.0 could be here by February/march :bandit:

Funny listening to both Mac’s interview after the game. They both kept saying my dad, my family rather than our dad, our family. Guessing just a language thing

    Re Gravenberch

Seen a few interviews with him now. Kid is just beaming with happiness everytime i see him talk.

Thats what ya want innit, new guys just feeling at home soon as, says a lot about the culture in the squad imo

Perhaps they're not really brothers - look how pink Alex is compared to Kev. <whistle>
My sister always used to call our dad "your dad" when speaking to me. I don't think she wanted to be related to me.

irrespective this was a absolute piss showing.

it started well for both sides. Nice, bright, intense game with union expending huge energy.

we made it way too easy for them by insisting on playing only in the middle third.

we made some chances but only a few and scored off an absolute flog of a goal.

We then threw 3 subs on at ht which kind of hopefully were preplanned but with nunez you can't tell as he is brittle.

I have to say that players looked disinterested and not wanting responsibility or to really attack.

Elliott at rw was a black hole. and absolute shocker from him after ht. totally anonymous 90% of the time and for the remaining 10% he was wandering back to his own goal rather than try do anything positive.

Jones was useless and indulgent. for a lad needing to put a red card behind him it was pish

    diaz touch was abysmal too.

none wanted the ball and none really had a point to prove there.

anyway 2-0 puts us 5 points up on 3rd with toulouse two games to come. win both and the group is win. win and draw and the group is all but done.

I'm sure these players will take Brighton more seriously. even the crowd were piss poor for a European night.

our best two players were quansah (what a game as last man) and konate.

    that says it all.

I must also be really harsh on tsimikas. that was lazy and **** from minute 1 to minute 95 last night. quite poor imo. he can do a lott better than that.

Only seen highlights but was nice to see TAA back and making those passes over the top for Salah. Have missed that ability
