Not just team selection as he doesn’t know his best 11 even after 10 games. Don’t criticise supporters for reacting to the pissing about at the back. It creates division amongst fans we can’t all be happy clappers football creates a lot of emotion sometimes a positive sometimes negative. His ego was battered on Tuesday completely out thought by the opposing dugout which might not be a bad thing.
Coyle atm is like that scott sterling video Every thing hits him in the face He will end up with a broken cheekbone next
And purely the fact we have a squad of players just like every other team in the division. What other side puts out the same 11 every game??
Lots of fair criticism of this performance but generally I don't subscribe to the negativity about Rosenior Maybe it's his interviews that annoy people but I generally don't pay much attention to those Is he 'arrogant' ? No idea and don't really care
“There’s part of me that’s really disappointed with my performance as a coach on Tuesday night” - Not sounding very arrogant to me.
i dont think he's arrogant plus to have success in such a competitive enviroment as professional football especially as a coach/manager you have to have full belief in your self, if you doubt yourself after a bad result, you won't have much sucess or a lasting impact rosenior has been around proffesional football all his life, literally. im sure he knows himself, he gets things wrong, he's still learning, id rather have rosenior with a connection to the club and a potential to be a great manager, than a middle of the road manager
Realistically, the list is short. I think it would be daft to sack him anyway. Despite my criticisms of him, I understand he’s trying to develop a long-term thing. However, if Acun did decide to part ways with Rosenior for whatever reason, I’m sure he’s got names in his head. Nuri Şahin is probably one of them. He’s young, ambitious, had a good career as a player, is Turkish and has done a decent job at Antalyaspor. He’s quite similar to Rosenior in that he has high demands for fitness and quality and plays a not too dissimilar style of football based around possession and building from the back. I don’t think Nuri Şahin would be a huge improvement on Rosenior anyway. Just seems like a logical name on a shortlist if we were ever in need of a new manager. Rosenior deserves a full season imo, at least.
Good to hear. Fair play. He hadn't said that in the clips I've heard. I also agree with Kalman's comment post #896
Cheers, I often find the interviews/questions about previous games are a better listen after individuals have had time to reflect etc
