That’s ****ing insane. I will never question Howe again. its just so many things. How early in the journey, to see Burn, Longstaff, Lascelles, Almiron go from where they came from - some from ****ing Bruce and Ashley - to this. Was it perfect? Nope. Burn made mistakes, Almiron was sloppy, Murphy was **** - but it’s the team, it’s the effort, the work. We are all clearly underestimating people like Schar, Longstaff and then you have some of the best players we’ve ever had in Trippier and Bruno, I mean that’s almost the proudest moment I’ve had. It’s not a billionaire coach, it’s not billion pound players. It was genuinely a beautiful thing. Gordon looks a world beater, works so hard, Anderson loves his moment in the sun; Isak is a top class forward and we were ****ing missing Joelinton, Willock, Barnes, Botman and Wilson. Unbelievable.
