he won't. they lanced goals last season he made bad signings that never made sense and he's now gone and attacked players so won't have good team spirit. yes they will inevitable improve but will not get near where they need to be.
He played well in a Morocco team that caught alot of people by surprise. And played as a solid unit who covered each others backs and worked really hard to keep the opposition out. Also to be remembered that it was an international tournament, where teams tend to play less adventurous styles of football and some players have a sense of national pride. Its why teams shouldn't buy off the back of a international tourny
The 2030 world cup is to take place in SIX countries in Europe/North Africa and South America 3 co-hosts of Spain, Portugal and Morocco. The first 3 matches in Uruguay, Paraguay and Argentina (be best to not be involved in one of those opening games imo) Sounds like lots of traveling for fans and teams. Doesn't seem like a great idea to me. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/67010609
I like the idea. In reality nobody can afford to plonk their arse in situ for more than a couple games anyway. so anyone who can doesn't get my sympathy. This is opening up some countries that might struggle to get a full world cup BUT my suspicious mind is seeing a south america/Europe linkup and i am instantly thinking that this is a distraction from a Saudi world cup being dropped in all of a sudden. If it used to go europe, south america rest of world and suddenly you group SA and europe then it opens up all sorts of bribery for fifa to hold more in asia and middle east.
"Fifa also confirmed only bids from countries from the Asian Football Confederation and the Oceania Football Confederation " AKA its going to saudi.
Not a fan. I understand co hosting like USA and Mexico, or Spain and Portugal, or England and Scotland for example. But over 3 whole different continents! FFS playing so many games in such little time is gruelling enough for the players, now they have to ****ing jet set around the world between matches too? Normally each country keeps a base in the hosting country where they stay, train, eat etc. That wont be possible with games all over the globe.
The South America link is only to mark the 100 yr anniversary. By the looks of it the opening game is taking place in Uruguay. Just to add, the cross continent thing (ignoring that Morocco is in Africa) is for a limited amount of games. Think its only the first 3 games of the whole thing.
Why paraguay and Argentina? I get the Uruguay bit if honouring stuff but not seeing the logic there. also are all 6 teams going to get byes into the tournament as that seems a hell of a lot
if they want to hold a World Cup in a region like South America then all teams should play on that continent, even if they want to share the countries in hosting it. If Argentina are the main host then obviously the final and semi finals should be in Argentina. Quarter finals could be shared around as they would only need 1 stadium per country to host them.
PSG losing to the barcodes, playing like they've never played a team that presses before. They've lost the ball in their own half about 10 times already in the first 30 mins.
1mil per week bit having to play with a group of individuals who won't do anything to help each other in any way
