As I said in another thread Ipswich are flying, despite some numpty trying to suggest they were struggling to wins ! But we haven't helped ourselves here, we just aren't getting near them at the minute. Everything is slow slow slow. I'd be inclined to take Traore off, bring Vinagre on at lb, shift Coyle to rb and push Christie up. And ffs Liam let em off the leash !!
On paper I'd agree with you but this lot have scored a bucket load at home against better teams than us. We've been off it tonight but sometimes it happens. McKenna has been playing this way for a lot longer than Rosenior has with respective squads. They're a lot more gelled than we are. Big improvement needed but if anyone didn't see this would be a huge test tonight is really blind
Ipswich a well drilled side. Credit to LR with his tweak in tactics halfway through as we started to look much better and could have scored with those chances created for Connolly and Philogene. A good reality check that we're a good not great side yet.
A bad half against a good team, I’m not saying Liam’s got it right but he’s not to blame for some of the poor individual performances out there. It would be inexcusable to not make changes at half time.
Here is a POV what it looks like for Ipswich players closing down and attacking our defence please log in to view this image
Would that have been me? I never said they weren't flying, I said they were there for the taking given how open their games were and that we were a chance against them. The fact they came from two goals down to beat Cardiff for instance. But go on with the name calling if you wish.
They are a very classy outfit, outstanding on the ball(and off it)... They've gave us an education first half, sometimes you just need to accept that and slurp your medicine. Anyone booed in their armchair yet??
