Honestly can’t wait for this one. This is a big test for us and if we were to win or draw and dominate the chances, it would further prove my feeling that we are one of the best teams in this league. I really want Delap to start too. He must be hungry after being benched for the last couple.

For those of a certain age - today’s fixture reminds me when we didn’t know which teams were being shown on Anglia TV’s Sunday afternoon football coverage but were 99% certain that when two sides were playing each other from the Anglia region then they would be shown (Norwich, Ipswich, Hull, Peterborough, Colchester etc) The commentator was usually Gerry Harrison and the Outside Broadcast Team loved the trips up to Hull as it was an overnight stay for them at The Royal Station Hotel, above average travel, accommodation and meal expenses pocketed as well as often going out for a drink after the match with some City players. Indeed one of the crew still remembers a non too celubrious public house with parrots in presumably Earl de Grey.
