Our Under-18s survived being reduced to 10 men to complete a second-half turnaround and extend their unbeaten run with a 2-1 victory at West Bromwich Albion on Saturday lunchtime.
Yago Santiago gave us the lead before Chelsea levelled and then went ahead either side of the break. Jamie Donley scored twice to take the lead back and then Nile John made it 4-2 with a minute left. The match wasn't on Spursplay due to there being a Premier League game at the same time.
Interesting, that: we had a player sent off and didn't have a complete meltdown and act as if there's an international conspiracy against us Some teams could learn from that...
Mikey Moore hat-trick. He's due a step up and I don't think it'll be long. Could replace Donley, if he goes out on loan or ends up in our first team squad regularly. Edit having watched it: Incredibly one-sided, even for a 7-2 result. Should've been more and they looked lucky to get the 2. Mikey Moore heavily involved in virtually every attack. Scored 3 and assisted 2, I think.
Worth pointing out our U21s are missing a chunk of the usual starting xi due to international callups, most obviously Donley, Dorrington and Phillips
Bristol City U21s 1-2 Tottenham Hotspur U21s. Went behind early, levelled it up relatively quickly and then nicked the win in the 95th minute. Game appeared to go on forever, for some reason. 13 minutes of injury time.
