the barmby situation is weird in one way id like him to start on the other id rather keep him sub.At the moment he has a brilliant impact , thing is we should need him to come on all the time, we need to win the games comfortably bury them out that way we dont need the wonder sub, that said ipwish form of late has improved and they are only a few points behind us.Or you could start barmby but would he last 90 mins??, and people saying play him in a scholes role i personally prefer him more an attacking option than a scholes who is a player who looks for the ball.

Barmby certainley is more potent when we need him as super sub, he always steps up to the plate. The equation is simple really , either start him and hope we,ve killed the game by half ,then sub him at or just after half time, because he certainly struggles if he had to play the full 90 minutes. Or carry on using him as we are doing now, Nick looks as though he relishes his 20-30 minute stints as a sub and certainley gives it a go, also when he comes on he the rest of the lads seem to up the pace. I Personally wouldnt start him, as we have got quality players that can win any game in this division, but its nice that we have him in the tool box when we need to up the anti..

I think he has more of an effect against tiring legs so would keep using him as we are. Having said that, we are unbeaten this season when we have scored first and have a poor record when we have conceded first.

If psychology comes into it then we might be better starting him.

The people who are now saying simpson to start in a 433 since stewart might be out doesnt make any sense in my opinion. Behind Fryatt, Mclean, simpson we dont have any real proper goalscoring strikers, apart from cullen and maybe garcia, and at this point of the season there no point taking a risk in injuring a striker or trying young striker in cullen who unfortunately hasnt made his mark yet.Best keeping a striker on the bench, also our midfield have been scoring koren especially.

I think we'll see Koren back on the wing, Belaid on the other and Harper back in the middle with Evans.

I'd like to see a 4-3-3 with Koren in the middle and Evans and Harper either side of him, but I think Dazzars line up sounds good too and we'll probably see that, wouldn't mind it either.

Or we could put Hobbs in the back four, push Rosenior up into midfield and keep Simpson and Barmby on the bench for that 60 minute kick.
Seems like NP has plenty of options these days

Agree with your comment about a start for Barmby.
Put Koren on the bench, then bring him on for Nicky-boy between 45 and 60 mins, just to shake things up!!! :emoticon-0103-cool:

I'm fairly confident, that whatever combination we do go for tomorrow, it won't involve Rosenior in midfield.

Maybe he likes playing Barmby later because he can't play at tempo the full game.....and NP feels it's more of an impact on OUR squad him coming on later? He does seem to pep the whole team up.

I think we're getting ahead of ourselves thinking a win away at Derby is nailed on. Having said that, I think we might just win, but I would still start with a keeper.

Would you like to know what really doesn't make sense? Your sentences and grammar.

Matt, the clue might be in his "tag"......YoungCityTiger. If it is so, then don't be so nasty to the individual, as it is not their fault that schools do not teach punctuation/grammar in the way we were taught.<cool>
