Been bigging up Robert MacIntyre for a while, just noticed today he's in the Ryder Cup. How's he been doing anyone?

Advantage clearly in our favour. Complacency and nerves are a bitch, though. Keep the hammer down

Well done lads. Squeaky bum time for a bit but that drive from Tommy on 16 was feckin awesome.

Lowry pegging back Speith and then Bobby closing his match out when he could have folded.

Cracking ryder cup that. Europe blew them away on day 1 and that was that. 5 point lead after day 1, five point lead at the end.

Bit of an age old story, europe played as a team, the US dont know how to. Some young guys on that team as well, thought they stood out and the senior guys put an arm round them.

Though Hovland was unreal, what a player. Chuffed for Macintyre too, earned his spot and won the points. Lowry seemed a left field pick, but that spirit and heart - this teams Poulter.

Now then, will we see an overseas win again soon I wonder...

Hovland and Aberb absolutely bossed day 1 and 2, hovland and viktor carried that momentum into today. Highlight of the weekend for me was seeing scheffler reduced to tears yesterday after having his arse handed to him! The 9 of the 12 Americans hadn’t played for 5 weeks in the run up to this weekend, not the sole determining factor of course but had to have played some part as “fresh” as they probably were!

MacIntyre is a potential champion of the future for me. Got a lot of quality and seems to have the mental toughness. Been a fantastic experience for him anyway.

Fantastic Ryder Cup…the entire team played their part, Americans had little to offer in first 2 days. Hovland for me was player of the tournament and surely a Major champion soon

    The whole tournament was superb.
I think Viktor and Bobbie will go on to be Ryder cup greats

as it should be.....they don't play the same format as the rest of the tours. Not sure why they are trying to change the format of the game anyway...its not broken, why try and fix it. As for the players...$$$$$$ pure and simple.

Evening gents. Thinking of upgrading my irons and after some recommendations?

Currently have some ping g410s and they have been nice enough clubs, but time to move them on.

Went and tried the Wilson D9 forged a couple of weeks back and they felt brilliant. I have a soft spot for Wilson and these seemed classic. Keen to hear anybody elses preferences.
