just want to say that we say clearly the ref was set up to send the player off by showing the end still first. it's pretty much just tell the ref what to do moment.
they didn't show the lines on the diaz goal btw. that was a long leg stratched back so it looked close to me. more dodgy var.
I've done a lot of moaning about referees this season, something I don't normally do, and this game is no different! Done shocking decisions so far, including three VAR checks clearly going the wrong way!
Pitch lines made it look well onside. Be interesting to see if they show the var lines, they made a decision very quickly
Almost a perfect ending to the half. Salahs passing this season has been incredible and think gone under the radar. Not sure diaz needed to slide. Did well to come back against 12 in that half. Just have to keep it tight and see if Nunez can catch them on counter in final 5 again
When first pass wa a made I called offside then when see the replay looks well onside at the freeze frame but var somehow managed to decide within seconds. Of they’ve perfected that they can make those tight calls that quickly after taking 5 mins in past then that’s absolutely brilliant. We’ll see how long they take next time though
What is it with referees and us? It is like some kind of vendetta or something. Getting beyond a joke now
Regardless of the result today, I think we look like a proper team this year. Getting better week by week, pressing seems to be back, playing out well from the back and midfield/attack seems fresh and full of energy. Not a chance that Diaz goal was offside by the way, very odd.
Bullshit that. Were getting nowt from the ref or var today, the red was harsh imo Curtis's foot bounces off the balk is why hes so high and the still image the var screen had up 1st was just laughable tbh
