Much needed win that one. I only caught the second half but that was much more like the team we saw set up for the first five or so games. Patient passing, they knew when to counter and when to hold possession

Easily the MotM on 8.5 points. Rowe next highest on 7.6 and Gunn got a 7.2 with a clean sheet which will boost his confidence after Plymouth.

It's hard to see, but Ui-Jo provides the assist for Rowe's goal only seconds after coming on. His touch just beats the defender's tackle to pass the ball to Rowe.

 

So, on we go to Swansea next then Coventry, both games away.

Considering the injuries to key players I think Wagner and his mercenaries have performed pretty well overall in the first nine games.
